# macOS Install Instructions

1. Download the DMG installer from the link provided
2. Once downloaded, double click the DMG, choose whether to accept the license, and drag the *Cerillo Labrador* icon into the `Applications` folder

If you already have a version of Labrador installed, please make sure to choose to "Replace" it if prompted. Alternatively, you can remove the original from your Applications folder prior to installation.

1. In *Finder*, go to `Applications` and find "Cerillo Labrador"
2. Double click to open
3. A dialog will appear saying the program was downloaded from the internet, if you wish to access the application, bypass this warning by clicking "Open"
4. If you are running a Mac with an Apple Silicon processor (the M series), you may see a dialog asking if you want to install Rosetta. Rosetta is required to run Labrador, so click "Install" to proceed. The installation should only take a minute or so. (You may have already installed/enabled Rosetta for other software installed on your Mac. [See more information on Rosetta installation here](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861))
